Body weight may fluctuate throughout our life but as long as differences are not very significant and permanent perhaps there is no real need for anyone to worry too much. The trouble becomes visible once with the extra 10 pounds that you may have put on representing the flab and the increased size of thighs or buttocks that do not allow jeans to button up or even be completely pulled up. When you reach that point you wish you could lose 10 pounds a week and after one or two weeks to look as you did several years ago.

The third day could really be a challenge in terms of determination and commitment. Try to remain on position and not to give in after only two days. That is probably why the third day should be a mixture of the previous two allowing you to diversify your food more but still you are to exclude potatoes and butter and anything else that was excluded on the previous days. The fourth day finally grants you bananas, eight in number and lots of skimmed milk.

The 2 pounds per week rule and how to burn fat extremely fast.



Why is it that every time you hear people talk about losing fat they say that the maximum amount of fat you can safely lose is two pounds per week. So how does one burn fat faster?

The truth of matter is that 2 pounds per week is not the maximum amount of fat you can safely lose in week. It is only a recommendation from the fitness gurus. The actual fat you can lose depends on many different factors. For instance weight loss is relative to how tall you are and how fast your metabolism is.

Weight loss is an extremely meaningless term unless you talk about it in context of body composition period for instance the fat to muscle ratio, or the water to weight ratio.

So how do you lose more than 2 pounds per week?

It is possible to lose for you more than 2 pounds per week of pure body fat. However, it is easier at the beginning and harder as you progress through your diet.My rule is that amazing outcomes are only possible with amazing effort. This means that you have to be committed to your workout schedule and even more dedicated to your diet.  Now if you want to lose more than 2 pounds per week you simply need a bigger calorie deficit. For instance, if 2,500 calories is your daily maintenance level and you want to drop 3 pounds of body fat per week with just a diet then you’ll need a daily deficit of 1500 calories. This means that you should be eating 1000 calories per day. Now you would lose a massive amount of weight if you could maintain this deficit. However, most people will not be able to last long on this little amount of food. A different option is to train for hours every single day.

So how does one fix this? Train harder or eat less.

My approach to this problem is a long-term weight control. This means patiently following a nutrition plan that is well-balanced between lean protein, natural carbs and healthy fats. There’s no magic and no quick fix to losing body fat but there aren’t many different methods that are proven to work. New soy cereal keeps hunger at bay until lunchtime





Soo-Yeun Lee, a professor of food science and nutrition from the University of Illinois has come up with a cinnamon-flavoured soy cereal that can reduce the risk of prostate and breast cancer. Unlike other breakfast cereals that can contain high levels of sugar and fat, the soy cereal has 10 grams of protein and five grams of fibre into each bowl. Diets high in soy protein are also effective in combating obesity. Soy protein is very high-quality protein and high-protein meals eaten early in the day stick with you so you eat less.

This is not breaking news in the cycling world, but I haven’t shared this awesome bicycle creation with you, my faithful readers, and would love to talk to you about it and read your comments.
We, cycling fanatics are always trying to find better bicycles with better components to help us go faster and have a more comfortable and exciting bike ride in endurance races or in long road trainings, and at the same time, we also like to look…good.

Take a special look at the tubes of the frame of the bike.

Some engineers have created a very strong and lightweight bicycle frame for both, mountain and road bikes. The frame is an isotruss-based carbon fibers previously wound with a sheet that holds the tension.
Delta 7 Sports has definitely created the stiffest and lightest road bike Ascend with unique carbon fiber and Kevlar frames that are of limited production, with life warranty and handcrafted in the United States.

“We go back afterwards and hand-wind all the little Kevlar strands, inch-by-inch, over each isotruss,” ~Tyler Evans said. Mr. Evans is a program manager at Delta 7 Sports in Payson, Utah.

“This bike rides like bikes that are much heavier and stronger and built like a tank, but it’s still in the featherweight category,” Evans said.

The mountain bike frame weighs 2.6 pounds. The new Ascend road bike weighs 1.8.

“You definitely feel like a rock star, like you’re famous, like you belong in the Tour de France or some high-end race,” cyclist Dan Weller told Ivanhoe.

“Right now, that feeling requires patience. It takes about 100 hours to build each IsoTruss bike. Delta 7 produced only 200 IsoTruss models in 2008, but is working on ways to mass-produce them in the near future. To get one right now, you have to add yourself to the waiting list and put down a $1,000 deposit.” ~ Science Daily reported.
