How do you cure loneliness and build self esteem?
The only time in my life that I felt really lonely was when I first moved to London at the age of 20. I lived alone in a small bedsit and although I met people at work, I spent most nights on my own and did not have friends because I was very shy and found it difficult to communicate with strangers. I felt disconnected.
Loneliness is all about disconnection.
- Disconnection from the community
- Disconnection from yourself
- Disconnection from your core identity
Loneliness arises from a poor self-perception and a lack of self-valuation. If you don’t like yourself then you are less likely to try to join a group of people because of a fear of rejection.
Is there a cure for loneliness? For me there was no one cure. As the years went by I gradually became more self-confident and started building my self-esteem and confidence. I now feel very connected to my self and others around me.
I cannot remember the last time that I felt lonely - even when living on my own.
If you are suffering from loneliness or lack of self esteem then listen to the hypnosis CD, Harmony. This deals with how you relate to yourself and the world around you. Using the techniques revealed in this audio program will help you lead a connected, harmonious and integrated life.

Good piece of article. Connecting with good people is another source of curing loneliness - people who tend to share positive thoughts and lift you up. They can be a real boost in life.
