Levi Leipheimer Leads Tour Of The Gila 2009



Sebastian Haedo won stage 2 of the Tour of the Gila that is taken place in New Mexico, however, Levi Leipheimer still remains the leader of the tour since he conquered stage 1 with an impressive time of 3:36:02 hrs after 151.5 kms.

“I said to Lance coming up here, ‘maybe it would be better that we try and let somebody else win, ‘” Leipheimer said at the finish. “And he said something that made a lot of sense, he said, ‘you know what, you are a winner, go win the race and we’ll figure it out.’ So we’ll figure it out.” ~Lance Armstrong said.
